The political poker game currently going on in Lagos seem to be taking another dimension after supporters of the incumbent governor cried foul over the conduct of the APC gubernatorial primaries.

At Ward A,B,CD and E at Egbe-Idimu LCDA, supporters of governor Akinwunmi Ambode complained that they were not allowed to participate in the party primaries stressing that thug, security agents, and electoral official did not allow them cast their vote for their candidate.

They revealed that  they were not allowed to vote, after the security officials tear-gassed them when it got to their turn to vote. Angered by what transpired, many of them stressed that they were willing to defect to the PDP or any party of the governor’s choosing if he decides that was his next move.

"We don’t want to vote again,” a woman says as she takes reporters to a fence that was allegedly broken by thugs loyal to Sanwo-Olu to escape when the crisis got really heated.

There is no election here. This was the same thing they did in Ayobo.”

"The voting centre is nearly empty now, as party members, electoral officers and security agent have left the voting centre. The only people around are supporters of governor Ambode.
