A six-term member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Oluwole Oke, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Oke, who represents the Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency in Osun State, announced his departure following consultations with his political associates, friends, and family.
In a resignation letter dated April 16, 2025, and addressed to the PDP Chairman of Ward 7 in Obokun Local Government Area, Oke formalized his decision to exit the party.
Confirming the development in a brief phone interview on Wednesday, the lawmaker said, “I have resigned from the PDP.”
While Oke did not reveal his next political move, he called on his loyalists and supporters to also exit the PDP and stay tuned for further directives.
