The Elerinmo of Erinmo Ijesa Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Michael Odunayo Ajayi Arowotawaya II, has joined millions of well-wishers across Osun State, Nigeria, and beyond to celebrate the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on the occasion of his 66th birthday anniversary.
In a statement released through the palace media office and made available to newsmen, the respected monarch described Governor Adeleke as a compassionate, and people-oriented leader whose administration has continued to accelerate development across Osun State.
The Elerinmo commended Governor Adeleke for his unwavering commitment to infrastructural development and workers’ welfare, noting that the Governor’s leadership has continued to positively impact the lives of citizens across various sectors of the state.
The monarch also used the opportunity to remind Governor Adeleke of his promise regarding the grading of the road leading to the world-acclaimed Ori Oke Agbara Erinmo, a spiritual and tourism destination that attracts thousands of worshippers, visitors, and tourists from across Nigeria and beyond.
Oba Arowotawaya noted that improving access to the site would not only ease movement for visitors and residents but would also contribute significantly to tourism, economic activities, and the overall development of Erinmo Ijesa and its environs.
Furthermore, the Elerinmo passionately appealed to the Governor to kindly remember Erinmo Ijesa in the ongoing infrastructural development projects across Osun State, noting that many towns and communities within the state have greatly benefited from the administration’s developmental strides. The monarch expressed confidence that Erinmo Ijesa, as an important historical and cultural community in Osun State, would also receive deserving attention in areas of road infrastructure and other developmental interventions.
