The Court of Appeal sitting in Akure has upheld the election House o Representatives member representing Ede/Egbemode/Ejigbo Federal Constituency of Osun State, Honourable Bamidele Salam.
The panel also upheld the election of the House of Assembly members representing Ifelodun and Obokun state constituencies, Jimoh Mulikat Adeola and Adewumi Adeyemi respectively.
Salam and Adewumi are members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), while Adeola is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In their unanimous judgements, the panel held that there was no over voting in the elections in Ede/Egbemode/Ejigbo Federal Constituency and Obokun state constituency as alleged.
It said where there was over voting in Ward 1 unit 2 of Obokun Constituency, it was never pleaded by the petitioner.
